No power loss during storage: lithium batteries are not allowed to be in the state of power loss during storage. The lack of power state refers to that the battery is not charged in time after use. The crystal of lead sulfate adheres to the plate, blocking the electric ion channel, resulting in insufficient charging and the decrease of battery capacity. Regular inspection: in the process of use, if the mileage of the electric vehicle suddenly drops by more than ten kilometers in a short period of time, it is very likely that at least one battery in the battery pack has broken grid, plate softening, plate active material falling off and other short circuit phenomena. At this time, it should be timely to the professional battery repair organization for inspection, repair or matching. In this way, the service life of the battery pack can be relatively prolonged and the expenses can be saved to the greatest extent.

Avoid high current discharge: when starting, carrying people and going uphill, please use pedal to help, try to avoid instantaneous high current discharge. High current discharge can easily lead to lead sulfate crystallization, which will damage the physical properties of the battery plate.

Correctly grasp the charging time: in the use process, we should accurately grasp the charging time according to the actual situation, refer to the usual use frequency and driving mileage, and also pay attention to the capacity description provided by the battery manufacturer, as well as the performance of the supporting charger, the size of the charging current and other parameters to grasp the charging frequency. Generally, the battery is charged at night, and the average charging time is about 8 hours. If the discharge is shallow (the driving distance is very short after charging), the battery will be full soon. If the battery continues to charge, overcharge will occur, which will cause the battery to lose water and heat, and reduce the battery life. Therefore, when the discharge depth of the battery is 60% – 70%, it is best to charge it once. In actual use, it can be converted into riding mileage. According to the actual situation, it is necessary to charge the battery to avoid harmful charging and prevent exposure to the sun. It is strictly forbidden to expose the battery to the sun. The environment with too high temperature will increase the internal pressure of the battery, and the battery pressure limiting valve will be forced to open automatically. The direct consequence is to increase the water loss of the battery. Excessive water loss of the battery will inevitably lead to the decline of the battery activity, accelerate the softening of the plate, heat of the shell during charging, bulging, deformation and other fatal damage.

Avoid plug heating during charging: loose charger output plug, oxidation of contact surface and other phenomena will lead to charging plug heating, too long heating time will lead to charging plug short circuit, direct damage to the charger, bring unnecessary losses. Therefore, in case of the above situation, the oxide should be removed or the connector should be replaced in time
